In this episode, I grouped together two questions about relationships.

#1. I know how wonderful it must be to be in a relationship with someone who doesn’t just get you, but gets “it”. But do you ever find it difficult to be in an evolved relationship? And if so, how do you navigate that?

#2. I remember you saying one time that you told your partner something along the lines of, “I don’t need you to think I’m sexy in order to feel sexy.” Since my wedding almost 2 years ago, I have gained 30 pounds and am at my heaviest weight. My husband has made it known to me that while he still thinks I’m sexy, he doesn’t want me to get bigger. Before we got married, he made it clear that if he is no longer sexually attracted to me (as in I get too fat), he would divorce me. It’s hard to feel sexy with that in the back of my mind. How do you get to a place of not needing your partner’s approval to feel sexy?
