If you landed here, I’m guessing you’re put off by the toxic, harmful, and cringy nonsense in the online world AND you care enough to do things differently.

I’ll also guess you don’t enjoy being associated with it either, which you are by default as a coach or a healer. (Spoiler – we talk A LOT about how to change that in this series.) You may have also felt discouraged at times and like you have to do things that don’t align with your values or don’t feel LIKE YOU – in order to make money or grow. And at some point, I’m guessing you’ve also felt the extreme pressure our culture places on individuals to take responsibility for and fix our broken systems. Maybe you’ve even burned yourself out trying to do more than your share. This series is going to be a reference to learn from some incredible guides and professionals who do justice, DEI, anti-oppression, and decolonization work. As well, you’ll hear from coaches and healers who have been in the trenches learning, unlearning, implementing, and integrating liberatory practices in their businesses FOR YEARS (ahem, long before 2020 when it officially became “trendy and marketable” to do so) …

My wild dream is for the future of business to be liberatory. If you’re into that kind of thing you’re going to LOVE the REAL Uplevel.

So often in the coaching industry people talk about upleveling revenvue, followers, influence, and productivity. In The REAL Uplevel, the focus is on upleveling leadership skills, compassion, integrity, awareness, and liberatory business practices. And the beautiful thing about upleveling in these areas, is that of course, it will positively impact the others, too. We’re also getting into redefining success and prosperity on our own life-honoring terms. For the last 13 years, I’ve been part of the overlapping industries of online business, coaching, health and wellness, and healing. I’ve seen these industries grow and change in some beautiful ways – and I’ve also seen them do the polar opposite. Things like performative allyship, virtue signaling, bait and switches, over-charging, gross exclusivity, and excessive use of the language of liberation in marketing without embodying those values are at an all-time high. It’s time to STOP replicating systems of oppression and supremacy and GO MUCH DEEPER with our commitments, practices, and understanding of true liberation work.

The online world needs better leaders, more people who are actual masters of their craft, and folks who are committed to ethical and non-slimy sales and marketing.

A lot of coaches and healers have dabbled in liberation work (anything related to justice, DEI, anti-oppression, and decolonization). Many have felt overwhelmed, started and stopped for whatever reason, or had trouble staying engaged. As well, a lot of people don’t actually go deep enough to create a true culture of liberation and inclusivity in their work. I’m not here to condemn anyone for that. I’m here to give you a robust resource to keep you going and invite you to take more steps and go a bit deeper (even if it’s uncomfortable). For many of you, this is the series you’ve been waiting for – click to sign up and I’ll see you inside!

redefine success on our own life-honoring terms

The REAL Uplevel is for people who understand that individuals can’t solve systemic issues – and are not willing to burn themselves out trying, but rather find the best ways possible to do their part. In many of the interviews we discuss four major pillars to making this shift – SUFFICIENCY, SUSTAINABILITY, SOULFULNESS, AND SATISFACTION.

FAQ

How do I access the content?
Everything is hosted on Mighty Networks – the interviews, solo sessions, community calls, and community forum. When you sign up you’ll get a confirmation email that tells you how to access everything. And no need to worry if you’ve never used Mighty Networks before, there’s a a short video tutorial to help you navigate the space as soon as you login in.
Is everything recorded and how long do I have I access to it?

Yes! The interviews and solo sessions are pre-recorded and will be released according to the schedule listed on the page here, though you can obviously watch them whenever you want. The community calls will be recorded and posted to Mighty Networks within 24 hours. You get access through May 1, 2024. Plenty of time to take it all in and even review it several times over!

How does this actually work and what's included?

What’s included is 17 Guest Mentor Interviews, 4 Community Calls you can attend live on Zoom hosted by me (Elizabeth), and 3 Solo Sessions that I’ll pre-record for you. You also get access to the community forum where you can share reflections on the content. On March 27 you’ll receive a link to join the Mighty Networks space. (If you sign up after that, you’ll receive it immediately). Once you log in to Mighty Networks you’ll see an Intro post, a Navigating The Space post, and a Community Agreements post (which you’ll need to read and agree to). You’ll also get immediate access to two of my solo sessions to watch before the series begins and you’ll be able to RSVP to the Community Calls if you can make them live. On Monday, April 3 we’ll start posting the interviews according to the schedule here on the page. Although you do not have to watch all of the interviews and recordings by April 22, we will wrap up the community forum aspect of the series on that day with a live Closing Call.

Do I have to participate in the community?
While I highly recommend it to get the most out of the experience, the answer is no. For a number of reasons, I understand that some folks don’t enjoy online forums, don’t know what to say, or don’t feel comfortable sharing and I would never “force” anyone to participate against their will.
Do I have to be a coach or a healer to benefit from the series?
No! There is a lot of context and industry-specific material in the conversations for coaches and healers, but a great deal of it can be applied in a range of contexts and industries. Much of what’s covered is about being a better human and treating other humans better.
