Healing Conversation with Michelle Durst
As we navigate the major events happening in our world, it’s so important to take moments to celebrate our personal victories and reflect on the progress of our healing journey. In this episode, our guest Michelle Durst shares her story on addiction and codependency recovery. She talks about the valuable lessons she has learned throughout her process that have led her to spiritual strength and support.
In our conversation, we discuss the discomfort of pursuing our desires, how staying in a harmful relationship can reflect our own unwell state, and the importance of self-awareness when making choices. We also touch on managing feelings of regret and transitioning from being a victim to embracing self-love and acceptance.
Healing Conversation with Sara Kassem
Today, we are joined by Sara Kassem – a healer, therapist, and dear friend, for a vulnerable conversation on humility and self-forgiveness in a spiritual healing journey. Sara opens up about her challenges with relinquishing control while accepting the healing process and shares how she shifted from a self-blaming and self-reliant paradigm to one of self-acceptance and welcoming love and support from others.
Throughout the episode, we explore the relationship between a spiritual connection and accessing humility, how to release your shame, the difference between intention and impact, and why it’s important to embrace mistakes to learn from them. Sara highlights the role of forgiveness and seeking truth in humanity and offers advice for reclaiming your authentic energy – regardless of what those around you may think.
On Healing and Change
Our world is experiencing atrocious and unthinkable trauma, and over consuming and sharing on social media can be incredibly overwhelming and unhelpful. Today, we discuss the importance of regulating ourselves in a variety of ways during times of crisis and what we can do as individuals to contribute to positive change.
Shifting towards collectivism, trust, cooperation, and humility takes time and patience, as does any healing process. Throughout the episode, you’ll hear offerings for how to maintain as much emotional balance as possible during chaotic times, honor your capacity for contributions, and prioritize yourself as a means to reduce collective energetic upheaval.
Spiritual Futurism and Mystical Leadership
Today I’m exploring the working definition of Spiritual Futurism specific to The School of Sacred Embodiment. At its core, this interpretation of Spiritual Futurism calls on us to re-evaluate our connection with the divine, freeing ourselves from outdated patriarchal and colonized influences and returning to our ancestral and indigenous roots. With this approach, we can revitalize ancient traditions to fit our modern needs.
In this episode, I share how incorporating this concept into mystical leadership cultivates an open space to guide others with empathy and understanding rather than imposing rigid expectations. The result? Stronger, more compassionate communities that foster growth, an openness to reflection, and a willingness to refine.
